Warranties
Authors submitting their works for publication in the journal "Rossiyskiy tekhnologicheskiy zhurnal" / "Russian Technological Journal" guarantee that the articles are original (not previously published in other publications in their current form or in a form similar in content), are not under consideration in the offices of other publications, and any possible conflicts of interests related to copyright and publishing of the articles in question are settled.
Articles submitted to the editors should not contain scientific and technical data relating to the state, official or commercial secret. In order to confirm the absence of secret information the authors present an official document from their organization: an expert report on the possibility of publication.
When using any content freely available on the Internet, the authors must preliminarily specify the information about the copyright owner and, if necessary, to obtain approval for its borrowing (reprint).
According to the editorial policy of the "Rossiyskiy tekhnologicheskiy zhurnal" / "Russian Technological Journal" it is unacceptable:
- To copy literally another person’s work without indication of his authorship and without a reference to the source.
- To paraphrase improperly another person’s work by changing more than one sentence within one paragraph or section of a text or locating the sentences in a different way without a proper reference to the source.
- To use elements of another person’s work (for example, figures, tables or paragraphs) without indication of the authorship, without acknowledgment or without reference to the source.
- To self-plagiarize. Authors should indicate that their work is published for the first time. If elements of the manuscript have been published earlier in another article, including the journal "Rossiyskiy tekhnologicheskiy zhurnal" / "Russian Technological Journal", the authors must refer to the previous work, indicate the major difference between the new and the previous work and at the same time reveal the connection of the new work with the research results and conclusions presented in the previous work. Literal copying of their own works and paraphrasing are unacceptable: they can only be used as a basis for the new findings.
The editors recommend to indicate materials that the authors have prepared earlier (in the course of the study taken as a basis of the submitted article) in the list of references. However, self-citation should not exceed 30%.
